New manufacturer of AOS for $39.95?

Bremnem parts.
ECS News Porsche 986 Boxster Air-Oil Separator - 99610702304 - Air-Oil Separator - ES#2771573

Too bad they don't make the big "motorsports" version with the tapered bottom to fit 986 for that same price point (~$1000 I think for the Porsche version...)

I wonder how it holds up? I wonder what else they make. I never heard of them before now...

Wow, thats more like it. a big piece of plastic should not cost a fortune.

I have yet to take mine apart and see how it works but I can't imagine that its all that complex. I was going to see if I can fix the diaphram or retrofit it with a better solution so if my new one fails I can swap the improved old one back in.

However at this price I should just buy a spare to have on hand.

So who will be the first Guinea Pig to try this out for us and let us know if it works out?

I couldn't help but notice that they have some great prices on other things as well.
They are located in the US but deal with Bremmen Parts from Germany, who in turn sources their parts from all over Europe.

Nice find!

I would like to know the manufacturer. I've recently done development work for one of our distributors and experienced a "low cost" AOS first hand. They had a few complaints and sent me units to destructively inspect.

I have the documentation and photos that prove it's missing the large spring inside.. I posted them on our Facebook page a while back www.facebook.com/fixabrokensix

You'll get what you pay for. We ONLY go Genuine on the AOS, because I've been hosed before.
