Does anyone know?

I am in the final throws of a 996 3.4 swap into my 98 Boxster and I need to add a female connector spade to pin #59 on my DME harness to except a wire. Does anyone know where I can get these female connectors for the DME plug and an insert tool to install them?

Ugh, don't you hate that. A 50 cent part is holding up an engine install.

I feel for you man!

There are engine wire harness builders (Racing folks) that may be of assistance at sourcing these connector parts.

I just read of someone on these forums that does that. I am pretty sure it was Brad Roberts.

Message him and see if he can help.

I can't help you there either.

Those headers look like 996 headers which won't work on Boxsters without extensive modifications to the exhaust system!

You are correct they are 996 headers. I will be taking them to the exhaust guys on Monday to lower and move inboard the two final exhaust outlet........In the mean time I'm lost at where to find the connectors.
Thanks jb92563 I will try that source, if anyone else has any thought it is much appreciated !!

Brad is at Thunderhill racing this weekend...

Nice engine! That is going to be a very sweet ride when you get it finished!

I found it!

This is the same DME 88 pin plug used on the early 996

The Bosch numbers on the white internal section for the 88 pin DME plug are 1 928 401 587 and 1 928 403 122. That part has two numbers on it.

This plug has two different size spade connectors. The small spade connector is Bosch number 1 284 477 219(JPT AMP substitute 927 774-3). The large connector is part number 1 284 477 121(JPT AMP sub. 927 775-3). Thank you for your help guys, it was very much appreciated.
Still need to know where to buy this stuff in US ??
Thanks, Bob
