Ok - not an easy find for me...trying to figure out the CU ft volume for the door "subwoofer" enclosures. Specifically part # 996.645.551.00 pic included for reference.
The reason I'm asking is to get an idea how close I am to meeting some CU ft volume requirements for some shallow mount subs to add to the door. My current base box doesn't even have door speakers - so adding these enclosures seems like a good way to at least start the process. Obviously modifying the enclosure to accept a 6.5" sub, or even trying to stretch to a 8" sub with some modification.
Anyway - there are some subs out there that are designed for small enclosures - I have found some as low as .18 Cu ft
Until I get these enclosures in my possession to measure out I won't know what I have ...that is unless anyone has a link to the answer? Appreciate an assist - apologize in advance if the info is already out there...just couldn't find it
