I've done a search yes, and can't come up with anything. I'm referring to that rubberized yellow coating that seems to be sprayed over various parts of the underside. It's safe to assume it's some sort of undercoating, but it seems to be applied to some odd areas.
I was doing a little feather dusting under there and this stuff started flaking off. Well that didn't look right, so I strategically scrubbed some more off and a lot of pieces came to life. I don't drive the car in rain or snow so I don't believe there will be any drawback, but I'm wondering now if this stuff had any other intended functionality.
