Engine code P0343

Ok, out of nowhere my car started running like crap. Would barely run. Nursed it home, and had autozone pull the CEL codes for me p0343. I followed the diagnostics, and it points to a short causing 12v to be in the signal wire for the cam sensor. There is in fact 12v present. Beyond that, all it says it check for a short. I disconnected it completely and tested the wire straight out of the DME. With the entire rest of the harness out of the equation, there is still 12v coming from the DME. I'm at a loss as to what to do next. I unfortunatly don't have durametric which I think would be an huge help with something like this.
