If a base has red calipers it's because he owner painted them or retrofitted S calipers.

Flywheel and clutch 40#
Tiptronic with tc 245#

These were all full with fluid and a scale that could be + or - a few lbs

Looks like I need to go back and replace some pics I erased. I did notice I never took a pic of the back side of a S carrier compared to a base carrier. The rear S bearing is larger but more importantly is the reinforced control arm link mount. That's a quick way to tell the difference between a rear S carrier and a base carrier
