2000 Boxster S, 167,000 miles, original IMS:
Bank 1: -5.63
Bank 2: -6.5
remained unchanged regardless of RPM

1999 Carrera 4, 77,000 miles, just replaced IMS w/LNE:
Bank 1: -6.56
Bank 2: - 4.39
remained unchanged regardless of RPM

I was looking to get air-fuel ratios, but couldn't find that function in Durametric... am I missing something?
Will the Enthusiast version show camshaft deviation?

JayG: The software is identical and has all the features for any version. The 'version' is of the cable and only determines how many VINs can be used - 3 vs unlimited.

The pro version lets you do more coding or writing of settings of the car, while the enthusiast is more read only and limited to 3 vins. All of the monitoring functionality is the same for both.

I just changed mine out. It was expensive.

If you're going to do this yourself, it's an advanced job, so be prepared. You don't have to drop the entire engine, just lower it enough to access the cam banks.

And while you're at it, it's best to pull the oil pan and check the pickup tube. The bits and pieces of these wear pads tend to clog up the screen.
