Stainless brake line

I've looked at a lot of posts for information on stainless brake lines. It appears that the Goodridges ones are the only one that received a OK. The pelican ones seemed to be difficult to fit. There has to be more people that have installed SS line. Who is using what line set where were they purchased. good point bad points.

I have a street legal track purposed car.

While a lot of people make replacement braided stainless lines, you need to look for ones that are DOT approved for street use. We use Goodridge lines exclusively as they are DOT approved, well made, and they stand behind their products. They will even make custom lines if you supply and example for them to work off of.

I have been using good ridge ss lines for > 10 years now. Easy install, great feel, superior quality. Installed good ridge on my other vehicles. Good to know I have tracked the boxster >40 times without any hiccup, and my other vehicle has even more track days on goodridge.

100+ track days on goodridge!

It's kind of funny but braided steel covered lines were illegal for years simply because DOT information couldn't be printed on them. Finally it can with plastic coating.

The uncoated units came with a plastic DOT approval tag attached to them for years......
