Sorry, its been a while. Here's the latest status.

I got the SC installed, but was not happy with how one of the AC lines interfered with the SC. So I removed the AC line and took it to a shop to have them modify it for me. Should have it back this week.

Once I get it, should be pretty quick to get the rest of the SC installed.

Then its just a matter to tune the air-fuel ratios. May need to do the timing as well. I have a piggy back computer for timing. If I need to install it, I will.

Promise to get more pics up soon too.

Thanks for your patience ;-)

Got the modified AC line back from the shop today. Should be able to make good progress installing the rest of the SC this week.

The shop shortened the pipe by cutting out a 1.5 inch section.

The modification to the AC line worked out perfect. The pipe no longer interferes with the supercharger.

Today, I got the exhaust system back in. Here are a few pics of the install. Thanks again JAAY for the headers. All heat wrapped.

here is a a solution for using radiator hose for intakes... Aluminum Pipes the addition of an auxiliary fuel injector or a water or methanol system with a piggyback controller would probably not hurt. on my Miata, I have a coldside supercharger which utilizes two additional injectors, while running at 10 psi of boost. also, a knock sensor with a warning light as an added measure of security should be on your list of to do's.

Drbodzin - How did this turn out? Have you had time to complete it yet? If so, how's the ride?

Hi All,

Been a while since I posted. Been super busy in other areas of life. Anyhow, I want to update you all on the project.

The SC install was completed some time ago and its now been about 1,500 miles of driving since. There is a definite increase in performance, as expected. I would guess (by the seat of my pants) that the gain was 35-40 HP. MPG has not noticeably changed.

I tuned the Air Fuel using the Apex AFR Neo computer and wide band O2 Sensors. I thought the timing would be an issue, but it has been just fine. Although I am not sure I am getting the full boost out of the system as I have not replaced the intake pipe per the suggesting made. I plan on doing that when time permits. The boost gauge shows vacuum throughout most of the RPM, unless I really get on her the vacuum goes into a boost range.

Overall, I've been very happy with the end result. She runs about 10 -15 degrees cooler since I added the third radiator and insulated the exhaust system.

She also sounds ridiculously awesome! The Fab Speed 200 cell cats were well worth the investment. So the entire air flow is not unrestricted.

I have not taken her for a dyno. May do that some time when time permits.
