I just went ahead and got 2 new inner cv's. The outers are good and no grease flinging. The left inner is completely torn in 2 with what looks like little grease left. The right is split, but not torn apart like the left. Since the car is new to me, I figure I'll pop new inners on, because they're not necessarily pricy, I can do the work myself, and I have no idea how long the left boot has been in that condition.
