Toe Link Extension???

Does anybody know a company that sells a part to adjust and extend the Toe settings for the Rear wheels?

Thanks,

KRZ

Hi,

The Rear Toe is already adjustable on the Boxster quite a bit. But, it's not something you really want to mess with. Why do you need more Rear Toe than the suspension already allows?...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

I believe he's going to be slamming the boxster down quite a bit, so maybe he's going to be outside of the factory range for toe adjustment?

The Boxster was lowered 30mm about 1.25 inches, pretty mild for lowering on 19's.

The toe link must be extended to get the rear camber within OEM Range. If they adjusted the camber to the OEM Specs, this forces the Toe settings to point the rear wheels in towards the center. At that point the tires would be scrubbed down in a matter of miles.

Still looking for a toe link.

Well, that's still pretty low. I've done my days with lowered cars and I'm pretty happy with how high the 987 with PASM is.

Anyhow, glad to hear you're enjoying the new suspension! Check back and let us know once you've fixed the camber/toe issues too--I'll bet it'll be even more fun than it is now!

I apologize if this has nothing to do with your question (I know nothing about suspensions) but I saw this referenced on another board:

Nice link, I just sent them an email.

I found another product from GMG Motorsports group:

It's the Rear Dog Bone Kit (GMG 996 Link Kit (w/o rubber boots)): $1049 for all 4-links:

--GMG 996 Link Kit (w/o rubber boots) http://www.gmgracing.com/porsche_suspension.shtml

for $1500 bucks I can buy 3 more sets of tires. too much money for the links. And actually, the cost breaks down like this:

$1049 parts

At Least $500 labor for install and alignment
