paint code for lapis blue

need to order some Dr Colorchip for my Boxster, lapis blue, 03 S, but I can't find the sticker with the paint code. Does anybody have a reference for it? TIA.

The reference I found says lapis blue is color code: 3A8

The sticker with the paint code should be on the underside of the front trunk.

Seems to be a 3A9 as well... probably close enough for touch up that 3A8 and 3A9 are not noticable...

okay, I was wrong. Maybe my car isn't lapis blue but midnight blue. My paint code on the sticker under the hood is L39C. There are 4 figures in this code, not three (which is what I found at first). Anyone know which is correct? Do paint codes have 4 or 3 alphanumerics in them?

Linderpat...on the site automotivetouchup.com you can put in the year and model and it comes up with "Midnight Blue Metallic/Midnight Blue Pearl" for your 39C code. Might want to check it out. Mine is Lapis Blue and it has the L3A8 code..not sure what the L stands for (someone might know).

L39C comes back as Midnight Blue Metallic in the paint chart.
Some have 3 letters and some have 4, there are even some with only 2... but to get the right one for your car you have to match them up :-)
