I have had to replace my fob twice.
once by getting a new fob at the dealer $$$$$
second time by replacing the small micro switch.
my experience has been bad switch with no response or having to press very hard to activate.
the reverse may be true and your switch has become easy to press. such that the flex in the key fob body is enough to set it off.
open up the key fob as though you're replacing the battery, pull the printed wiring board out by easing the three hook-like posts. this will expose the switches.
brush off any dirt n things off the board and then just push the door switch. if this opens only the door, then the trunk switch has gone soft.
there's thread here on how to replace the switch.
good luck
