I would suspect a bad button in the fob making contact randomly and/or when other buttons are pressed. Bad buttons are a known issue with these. If you are at least a little experienced with soldering, I'd recommend replacing them. They cost less than $1 each and would only take a few minutes...wouldn't hurt to try.
