Friction please!

well I tried ordering some Mintex pads on Saturday but pelican was out of stock--now I m wondering about akebono and their overall performance compared to OEM????? Friction... I must have great friction... but no dust...

I'll send you my front Mintex for shipping. I used them for < 1000 Miles. Nothing wrong with them. I put them on front and rear of 2000 'S' and couldn't stand the dust and hot flakes ruining my finish on wheels. I left the rear on because it wasn't too bad. When I got my 987 (now sold) I put Akebone on front and rear.

Whip350 thanks for sharing your experiences. Your link didn't work for me but I've purchased some Akebone pads elsewhere.

The link was actually to the Mintex pads I have and where I got them. I guess the forum now hides the domain.
