On the plus side, though my vendor and/or spec dropped the ball on shipping, the price was decent ($425) and they were all really awesome about the wanting to help correct the situation. The problem on my end was just timing but honestly, I'll probably give them another shot when I pull the solid disc back out next winter to swap in a sprung disc. Spec also offers an aluminum pressure plate that I might just try out too.
