Soft top problem

The soft top on my Boxster doesnt stop when closing it (Up) it tries to keep closing, I have checked the limit switch which is working, does anyone know what else the problem could be ?
Could it be a relay problem?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the electric roof?
Any help would be VERY appreciated, Adam

There is a switch on the center back portion of the top, behind the rear 3rd light. This switch tells the car when the clamshell is completely down and I think it stops the transmission motor. You might try looking into that one.

My top would not drop at all yesterday and I discovered my dash switch "down" side had gone, as they say in Germany, "Kaput"

Ordered another from Sunset today for delivery tomorrow (I can't be driving around with the top up with weather this nice in Houston... there are so few days that are cool and clear!!!)

Switches and sensors seem to wear out on our cars a lot if you ask me.

Garage
aingham: Your soft top keeps trying to close because the micro-switch that indicates the top is up apparently is not properly triggered or not working.....This microswitch is triggered by the top's main bow when it's in the upright position and the switch is located below the seat belt assembly on the driver's side. Try this, see if by tugging your top forward on the drivers side makes the top mechanism stop...If that's the case you switch is ok and you might need to adjust the forward travel of the top so it can press the micro switch propoerly....If nothing happens then ou need to replace it. Good luck, let me know how it went.

I have enough faith in my team to see them whoop up on St Louis and go to the WS.

The team was started the year of my birth and they've never been to the WS. I believe this is their year.

Now winning the WS is another thing, but if we get there we'll make the other team work for it, I assure you.
