Up until about 10 years ago it seemed like every car leaked some oil. I have heard of main seal and main bearing seal leaks on other engines.

In other threads people accuse porsche of not trying to remedy the problem. Well it seems from the above they have continued to try and evolve it away.

It is obviously the achilles heel of any Boxster "THAT LEAKS OIL"

Am I correct in assuming that it must leak oil to have an RMS failure?
