my89_928gt Registered User Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Fort Worth, Tx Posts: 55	You should never use car oil in a motor cycle. It normaly dose not have the EP(extream pressure addative) or enoguh of it prehaps. Resone is the transmission and the wet clutch used in the Jap bikes need it. The clutch will slip and require replaceing early. Grant it I have not had a back in nearly 10 years. Double check, but I'm sure it is still the case. Richard 97 Boxster 5sp black 92,000 miles
