I was wondering if you thought about the radiant heat (220 + degrees) in your trunk from the accusump? Good area to place tonights dinner. To dissipate those BTU's a guy on here recently installed the vents from a 356 in his truck lid as a type of nostalgic touch...you might benefit from that.

- Changed the battery

- Brake rotors & cheapo pads (can't wait to get the red stuff again, on order!)

- Full suspension & handling system (TRW control/arms/bushings/ball joint + Porsche RoW M030 kit)

- Changed the serpentine belt for a black colour one. The original 15 years old one was in perfect condition, but very gray looking.

- 19" hex plastic chrome covers/caps for those fugly rusty wheel lug nuts (the best mod by far!)

- Purchased 5x Porsche Crests (1.5"X2") for steering wheel off eBay. Four of those went on my aftermarket wheels center cap (sexy as the real thing), and one in the centre of my F1 style tip steering wheel of course.

- Changed oil, all filters, checked tyre pressure, regular maintenance

- Asked myself a few time if this all made me happy

- Asked the wife what was the balance of our 2012's entertainment budget

- Awaiting answer - end of log

Driven it, depreciated it no doubt disproportionately. Will fix the rock chips on the nose this spring. No regrets. Life is for living:dance:

driving topless on good days, going to install an emergency "rip cord" on the rear trunk release like the front, and.....Thinking of selling the car. A 356 is more my age and always wanted one.
