What the MAF?

When i test drove the car before purchase i recall it responded to throtle flooring pretty well. Have o2 issues so haven't inspected and driven much. Changed sparknplugs and tubes, coil tubes, oil, coolant, cleaned throttle body, changed air filter, cleaned MAF couple of times using electronic cleaner. Today took it out for a long test drive and the car did not have the Porsche power. it struggled to go past 70. Disconnected the MAF and tried again. I could make it fly if i wanted to. night and day.

Am i looking at MAF replacement?

at this point i would just get a new one, less to worry about. the MAF is fairly important so trying to fix it (if that's even possible, which i do not believe it is) might introduce more problems, only to have it fail again in short order. the PO might have purchased a used one off of eBay for cheap to get it in working order enough to sell it...
