P1119

I have a check engine light coming and going with code 1119. (P1119 Oxygen Sensor Heating 2 Ahead of Catalytic Converter - Below Lower Limit) Not sure if this means the O2 sensor is bad or not. Great if it is. It has come and gone off 3 different times in the last 1000 miles. I am just a month away from having to get my emissions check. I have a service visit scheduled but my luck the code won't be in at the time. Does anyone know if the inspection will show the code if it has cleared itself recently? I did clear it myself once, but that was over 1000 miles back. it stayed cleared for a few hundred miles. Since then it comes on and generally clears after the car sits overnight, staying off for at least one tank of gas.

You're OBC will store all CEL codes in it's memory unless cleared. So just be sure to make a note when you drop your car off.
