poke around the forum a bit and you'll find multiple threads discussing the fact that rear tires typically wear twice as fast as the fronts on our boxsters. And 15.000 mi is not too bad. When you get your new tires, go in for an alignment and confirm it is within factory spec.

+ Actually, I find I get more even wear on my rear tires when i autocross them more regularly and drive in an overall spirited manner most of the time.
