Caliper Decal Ideas

I am going through all the brakes and want to paint my calipers something other than black. I am thinking I have a few concepts and want to see what you guys think.

They both look great, my vote is for the boxster though. Great color by the way, I can not figure out what color to paint mine. I'm painting my wheels white which makes it tough

I prefer the 987 myself.
It already says Boxster on the back of your car.
987 seems cooler and would make the brakes look more powerful than they are.

I like the 987 decal mostly because I've never much liked the Boxster name in the first place. I've always thought that Porsche just should have used the numerical name for the car (986 or 987).

My calipers are red with the standard PORSCHE logo in black. They look really nice but also somewhat ordinary. Orange with the 987 logo will be fairly unique, and thus, will be very cool.

I'd probably be one to lean more toward just having Porsche on the calipers, but between the two options, I'd say maybe go with the 987, but maybe see how it looks without the brackets and spacing the numbers a bit farther apart so they won't look too small in the space...the brackets just make it look a little awkward to me...just my opinion.

I like the traditional, but if I have to choose, I would not do the 987 as it took me a while to figure out what it said in the picture!

Anyone ever put a monochrome Porsche badge emblem on a caliper? Can't imagine it'd look great, just curious.

I like ....

... the color!

I painted mine orange 5 years ago.
2 years ago I went with a lighter shade.

Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

PS: If you use orange you'll have to pay me royalties
