Not to be funny, but what do the instructions say?
From the picture, it looks like the hole spacing on the bracket all the way to the left matches the existing studs spacing on the car - I presume there is an issue with the other side's fitment if you use those?
If this detail is not covered in the instructions, why not give the mfgr a call? If things aren't lining up, there could be something wrong with the part itself. The whole point of what you've bought is safety - I'd trust the folks that designed and made it to provide the best info on how it should be installed and to consult/explain if you are having problems.
