Shifting knob

Does anybody know the trick how to remove shifting knob from boxster'01?
My one does not come out after pulling it upwards.

Unclip the trim ring from the bottom of the boot, put into second and pull / wiggle at the same time, it might not seem like it's coming off - but it will!

Cool Shift knob removal

have you pulled shift boot over the shift knob, and see if there's a 5mm. allen retaining screw right in front?
