If you are talking about what i think you are; I deemed them to be under body air scoops for additional engine/heat exchanger cooling, although I have never investigated as to exactly where the air was being directed....just a guess on my part.
Perhaps you could keep an eye on your temps but I highly doubt you will see anything. My educated guess is that you will fine until are able to get in there and replace it
I am sure someone on here will have an exact answer for you
