Ask them to ship USPS, you'll have to pay taxes when you pick it up at the post office.

Interesting. The last time I bought something from them (a while ago) they said they wouldn't ship USPS because of inability to track the package and potential damage issues or something like that.

They've always been able to send small parts thru USPS, if you ask. I wasn't sure about the motor mount due to its weight and size but they said ok even tho shipping cost wasn't cheap.
OR it may have something to do with me spending a fortune with them over the years, but those guys are great and they always know what I'm talking about (as supposed to my local dealer which I have to spend 10 mins just trying to explain them what I'm looking for, and they'll usually say they don't have it stock and I have to pick it up in a few days).

I did ask, but I'll certainly be asking again!
Without shipping costs, I'd save about $70 on the motor mount, not a biggie if I'm only buying one thing from Suncoast (distribute shipping cost).
But I just price-compared the water pump against my stealer, who wants $500 for the pump and gasket, vs $230 from Suncoast. Sheesh.

I also am having the same problem with my 2001 non-s. I hear a lot about the 987 upgrade. I am not sure if it is right for me. I do not track my car but I do have more of an "aggressive" driving style. There are a lot of threads on this subject but no real definitive answer that I can find. Can someone tell me if the 987 upgrade is better than an OEM replacement or is it not as clear cut as that?

Yes a new motor mount will fix some of the vibration issues, but in many cases, including mine, it is not coming from the mount. I suspect it is time for a new flywheel but others have had that changed only still have the vibration. One person solved it (with repeated success) but adjusting the height of the exhaust. I'm not changing mine till later this year so I'll know for sure then.

I think the 987 part is the only one you can get now from Porsche, i.e. it is OEM. I know when I asked my stealer that was the part number he came up with.
