If you stuff enough money into the intake manifold it will fit right in no prob...the 3.6 conversion on my car done by the PO was $21k.

Installing a cayman engine into your 2000 Boxster would be difficult. Easiest swap would be a 3.4L 996 e-gar carrera engine. Feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions regarding the swap.
