OBDii codes from boxster?

I have a $129 OBDII reader from Advanced Autoparts that works well on the 986, it takes about fifteen seconds to read codes and does you the service of giving you a plain english version of the code instead of just a number.

And look at the pinouts and data speeds, they are standard. Wiki has them listed.

As to what data is available, look at the Durametric sw web page to see the data they are mining.

No idea if theis device will understand the raw data you are looking for in a Porsche

If you are really interested in these data channels, you should invest in the Durametric package. You can view just about everything and data log the different channels. See attached graph of foot pedal vs. throttle blade that I exported from Durametric.
