Personally I like the agitator thought.....it almost appears as if someone was maybe having a bad hair day....

I for one appreciate the wisdom and experience of JFP, Jake and Charles. As a home mechanic (turn my own wrenches), what they bring to the table is essential for me keeping my Box S running and on the track.

BTW, run Syntec and I am happy with it!! Although I may go back to Red Line / Royal Purple before track season starts.

See ya.

I am trying to ask this as a yes or no question (which is hard) so I don't start another oil opinion war. I stopped using Mobil 1 0w40 and started using amsoil european 5w40 (easiest enthusiast synthetic for me to get). So far I like the results and have noticed less noise at startup etc. I have heard that this amsoil formula is not as well regarded as the older 10-40 offering. Living in coastal central CA will I have an issue using 10w40 weight synthetic in 01s in the future??

Thanks!

No, you will be fine with an ACEA A2, B3, B4 rated 10W-40 in that environment.....
