Received new wheel today...air bag adaptor question?

Is an 993 airbag adaptor (ie hub adaptor) going to work for a 986? Are the steering columns the same? The wheel looks great..pics coming soon.

Well the air bag adator is correct, but mounting the airbag to the wheel is not easy. I lossed one of the torx screws in the process and have to try and find acouple of matching ones saturday. Will post pics when all done. The airbag attachment is not like the oem bag which has angled torx screws set further out. These baby's are in closer and do not mount at an angle almost stripped one screw out. More later.......

All done!

Used two new allen screws 5mm longer than the original torx screws and they went right in.
