Hello,
I was on here about a year ago and somebody gave exact instructions for which fuse pin needed to be removed to disable the parking brake requirement to operate the soft top. Unfortunately, I did not write it down at the time. Now my 2001 Box S warranty has just expired and I'd like to implement the change. Can anyone help me with how this is done?

Keep in mind if you put the top while moving, you cannot chop the plastic window and it will likely degrade quickly.

i agree with brucelee, but if you still want to do it, it is the number 18 pin.
pull out the big fuse, there will be bunch of pins, take the #18 pin with a pliar and wiggle and done. cuts right off. i have done it for mine, but i rarely use it.
That's a great help Kajita. Thanks! Could you tell me though where specifically this fuse is found in the car? Where is the fuse box and which fuse in the box is the one I need to find the #18 pin on?
