+1 on previous post. I would just add... You hear way more of what has gone wrong with my boxster than what hasn't on these sites. Yes there are issues out there, but if you do proper preventative maintenance you can avoid most of these.
And yes drive the piss out of it. Unscientificly, people tend to have less problems with their boxsters if they drive it like they stole it. idea is the oil is heated up to proper temps and that was how it was suppose to be driven.
