60k Mile Service

So what is typically performed at 60k? I don't have a service manual, and I am going to drop her off at a local Porsche tuner to get maintenence work done. I'll be replacing the brake pads, and doing a general tune up. What costs are usually associated with a 60k mile service?

PS: My loaner car while the Boxster is in the shop, is an NSX.

The lists are here. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?act=maint&code=maint_disclaimer Use the 996 list.

No clue on the cost because when we do it at our local events it is the cost of the parts the owner brings.

I have several thoughts.

1. Buy an owners manual while you are at the dealer.

2. All dealers have their own prices so this will vary, sometimes widely.

3. Some dealers will want to do work not specified by Porsche. Be careful and hold them to the owners manual.

4. Enjoy the NSX!

I just had the 60k service done on my '98 Boxster in December. It was done by Newport Beach Porsche in Newport Beach, CA. The total was like $1286. The 60k service is one of the major maintenance milestones. There's a whole laundry list of checks that they do, but if I remember right the parts came to about $450 and the labor was about $850.
