I personally wouldn't even consider it, knowing that a decent number of folks have had Boxster motors self-destruct without any kind of forced induction, and given the extraordinarily high replacement cost of our motors.
If you decide to go with nitrous, at least get a progressive controller to ensure that you don't spray at incorrect times. The "red button" approach looks cool, but nitrous at the wrong RPM and/or when the throttle isn't wide open is a bad, bad thing.
After tinkering with forced induction for a couple of years before getting my Boxster, there's no way I'd mess with air/fuel on any motor I care about without a wideband, a fuel tuner, and probably some fuel delivery upgrades. Even with the proper setup, paranoia would make me stick to a 25 shot or something like that... too small to make it worth the expense.
