I am using factory alignment settings, I've got the stock 17" wheels wrapped in PS2's on my 986, stock suspension. I drive this car daily in a "spirited" fashion most of the time and autox it 9-12 a year with the local PCA and another local (non SCCA) club.
I am driving at local PCA and SCCA as well as National SCCA levels. I am a mid-pack National SCCA driver. I have been autocrossing 20+ events per year for 10 years.

I'll be in a '08 base 987 with PASM and Sport Chrono (so therefore defeatable PSM - John) I'll be on 18" wheels (stock widths are 8" and 9").

I plan on running Hoosier A6, 275 fronts and either 275/35, 285/30 or 295/30 rears. I have a set of 5mm spacers. Any opinions on tires? (Please don't tell me that these are too wide for the wheels, I already know they are not ideal but will mount and fit in the wheel wells.) The stock 265/40s give me 71mph at redline in 2nd. The 275s will give me 69, the 285s 66.6 and the 295s 67.3

Regards,
Alan
