Cloudsurfer Registered User Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Depends on the day of the week.... Posts: 1,400	The 3.6 X51 was an option on the 996. It is NOT the GT3 motor (The Turbo, GT2 and GT3 still use the old split crankcase 964 block, with water cooled heads). It is just a 3.6 M96 block with different heads, intake runners, and DME tuning.
