+1 on what Racer_D said. Sage advice.

Tires are expendable. If you want to stay in street stock just maul those Pirelli's for all they are worth. Once they are gone you will have 10-12 Auto-X days under your belt and you will have a very good idea which tires you want next. Have fun. Drive safe.
