I learned the search feature years ago on the Land Rover forums. It does irritate me when a newb will come in and ask the same question -over and over...what size tire can I use without a lift...ect.

I am probably guilty of doing that at some point, I am sure.

Some of you have great looking cars (ones pictured - not to exclude anyone.) Thankfully mine is in good shape except the paint. Guards Red, the previous owner used an automatice car wash. It was also keyed and touched up. Annnnnnnnnd, the many rock chips on the front clip that I have sheepishly covered with a new Porsche bra.

Odd problem, the rear trunk lid's paint is ruined yet the quarters and engine hood are great?!?! Looks like someone dumped an acid on the deck. I buffed and buffed, the stains will not come out, it is now a shiny, water-spotted trunk lid. White spots I assume are from soap that did not wash off and baked in the Nevada sun.

Car looks great from ten feet. I am not interested in the $400 cost of repainting the trunk lid. Body shop said they could tint and not blend the surrounding area.
