im about to get a new wheel, i already got the steering wheel hub from Momo, and my question is what do i need to remove and then install the hub, what tools?
also, what precautions do i need to take in order not to have the airbag blow up n my face?

DJ,

I changed my own steering wheel it was a piece of cake.

I disconnected my battery and let it sit for an hour.
Then took the steering wheel apart. Its a simple mod and only a few torx screws from behind and the center nut holding the wheel on.

I went with a wheel about 10mm smalled than oem and I am glad I did.

Ensure you mark the top of the nut and the screw it makes reassembly simpler.

Make sure when you disconnect the battery that you wait a few minutes to let the remaining juice(power) in the car drain also make sure you touch a metal part of the car like the door jamb or ignition switch that way if you have any static electricity on you it discharges and you don't set off the airbag when you go to disconnect it. Out of curiosity, does the MOMO set up you are doing have an airbag? If not won't your airbag light stay lit?

no there is no air bag.
ill just take the bulb out, i really don't care too much about that
