I did the same thing the very first week I bought it. I was changing out a light fixture in my garage and wanted to move the boxster to make sure I didnt drop anything on it that could hurt it.

I sat in the seat with a screwdriver in my pocket. I was getting married the next day and refused to leave my house until I found a leather repair guy who patched it. This week, the patch gave and the rip is back. Now, I need other options.
