Ignition Problem

When I put the key in my 2002, it's difficult to insert. Once in, it's hard to turn and sometimes the key does not want to go back into the off position. Anyone know what's the problem and the solution?

Very common ignition switch issue. There are a ton of posts on this topic. If you are a DIY guy the repair can be real cheap (like $20.00). I am not one of those and had my entire ignition switch replaced for about $300.00 at the dealership. You will find as this symptom progresses all kinds of funky problems: heater/AC quirks, radio issues, locks not working and more. Search the topic and you'll find a lot of help. Good luck...this is not a biggie!

ignition problems

i just completed this repair. fairly easy, but i hope you practice yoga. done in less then an hour including making a small screwdriver.
solved many problems including a window that wouldn't close properly. you really do see some strange issues when this switch breaks.
