I hope you are wrong..

Blinkwatt..
Not sure what e-gas vs. non e-gas means..I am a "newbie" as far as porsche are concerned..However, i specifically asked the shop if there are any problems installing this motor in my car..he indicated that the only thing that is going to remain on my car is body (shell) and interior. Everything else (performance wise)will be replaced. Forgot to mention all of the suspension upgrades and the cluster. i will post a complete list of all the parts being installed when I receive the list on tuesday.

Here is how it went down today..i ended up purchasing the RUF boxster today for a little over 12k from the insurance company representative. The car is without rims, interior, or stereo system.

The shop if charging me $11,500 to install everything.(ouch) plus included in this price is a set of 18" or 19" take offs from the showroom or their stock and tires. ..something "cup tires"??

the shop is giving me $3000 for all take off components from my car (motor, brakes, etc). So my "net" cost from them is $8500.

so i am fairly close to 21k for all of this work.

This is the shops 7th boxster to 996/7 conversion..1st RUF boxster conversion.

Ps..c4sklr (C4S Killer) was the liscense plate of the RUF boxster that was destroyed. Everyone in the shop said it was an awesome car and hung with most of the big boys and out cornered all the Big Boys at the California Speedway during a Porsche owners club track time..If anybody was ever at one of these let me know wht u think. Silver RUF complete ruf exterior body kit, and u know the license plate now..

-i'll keep you posted
