Our fuse boxes are the same as in the 911's, so there is an empty slot in row D that's for the 911's rear windows. I just plugged the extender in there and put a 7.5 amp fuse on the top slot on the extender. Turn the key and WOOT I don't have to worry about charging my iPod before taking the Box for a spin.

It took about an hour to do, most of the time was used to find a good spot for the extender. Then I kept putting the actual fuse in the bottom slot when it needs to be on the top.
sounds like its working great and hopefully you have no alternator whine. but wouldn't it have been easier to splice into the power that goes into the headunit? pin 8 is a ground. pin 5 is switched 12v +. of course i haven't tried this yet, but i am planning on it.
