New member intro

Good afternoon,

I have stepped into the 986 world with a 1998 white on green 986. Overall it has been great. My 986 has been sitting for a couple year with an occasional drive so I am spending most of my time getting it back into daily running. Currently it has 405,000 miles on it and I have all the maintenance since it was purchased. It has a great story of ownership and I am excited to keep it going for many more miles.

Thanks
Jay

Wonderful story .. very intriguing
would love to hear/see more ..

I'm 71 and going to finally jump in with both feet .. very soon

The older 986s are calling my heart but my mind says buy the newest I can afford .. so looking at 2009/10 2.9 liter as I don't have a garage so no DIY .. and reliability is a concern ..

Welcome, I would love to see a picture of the odometer! 405k beats the next closest 986 I know off by almost 100k miles.
