Tiptronics are less expensive than manuals, so for $15K you should be able to pick up a base Tiptronic 987. 75K miles is fine. You may have to change some suspension components at around 100K miles.

Thank you very much for this. What is the intermediate shaft failure I’ve been reading about? Are there certain years I should avoid or something I should look for when purchasing?
