Hold the Presses!

My neighbor just totally screwed up my life. He dropped off his 1999 Black Boxster and said go burn some gas.

Now I'm ruined (also in the market for one). Y'know, it do drift around nicely. Oops, I'm supposed to talk about the great styling, wonderful fuel mileage, green modifications, high resale ...

But, It sure do drift nicely! Only drawback to the car is that it could use another 100 hp, but I said that about my Hemi Challenger, too.

Neat vehicle!

high resale? Not.

To get that extra 100 hp, you need to buy a much newer S model. It will have most of the HP you want until you get used to it.

BTW, the mid 2009's have the all-new motor in them and the PDK flappy paddle gearbox that is supposed to be better than a manual tranny... if you can afford to pay what folks are asking for these cars. Build quality is a lot better than the original design as well.

Yes! One drive in a boxster and u will be instantly hooked. That is what happened to me 12 years ago when I was selling my jag and an old man with his boxster wanted to trade. Ended up buying a new one and has been the longest current ownership of any car I have had.
