I've been snooping around the forum for a little while now and decided it was finally time to post. I picked her up in March and have had a blast driving it ever since. I wasn't really looking to buy a car, but I saw this one and drove it with the top down and fell in love
The car came with these wheels pictured (RPK-178, 19x8.5 +45 & 19.10.5 + 50). The previous owner even gave me the stock 17's and he had the hard top to boot! Additionally, aftermarket headers and exhaust were installed
. I couldn't pass this up. I was also looking at the car and noticed that the headlights were already upgraded with the litronics ones, plus he had the clear style rears :dance:
Initially I was terrified of all the engine issues I had heard (she had 112k miles when I picked her up), but I figured what the hell. It wasn't without faults though. I had the ABS light on and immediately changed the brake switch under the pedal.
Within the first week of ownership, I had the IMS and RMS bearings replaced by Joe at Series 9 porsche near Daytona, FL. He also replaced the air/oil separator. I ordered spark plugs and the plastic inserts, new air and cabin filters, tranny fluid and a fuel filter. Those have all been replaced by me besides the fuel filter.
