as far as i know this is the same part. Valeo is an OE manufacture for many car manufactures.
just like Luck is the same flywheel as the Porsche, just half the price.
same thing is with the Shacs clutch kit.
however, if you are going to do it yourself, you might want to consider replacing only the evaporator, and re-foam the flaps.
you can save some $.

Quick question about my evaporator leak that you helped me with yesterday....I looked at the current airbox assembly and I can see the "Valeo" sticker on it it says AC REG H34 CAG.....I looked at Pelican and they sell the Valeo for roughly $650.....versus $1700 for Porsche genuine.....does this mean that this has already been replaced at some point with the Valeo unit and it has failed or was Valeo the original brand....I'd hate to put in another Valeo if the longevity is not there....not sure if you can answer that but I'm a new owner and you certainly know way more than I do.
